Chicken Lab 2006-7

Description
    Chicken tissues (parts) were solubilized in sample buffer that contained SDS. We used dark meat (Dark), gizzard (gizz), heart (Hrt), kidney (Kid), liver (Liv), and white meat (Wht). Students loaded prestained standards (STD) as well. Samples were heated, loaded, and separated by SDS-PAGE. Below are images of some of the students using a vertical gel apparatus for the first time. Then we have results using 10% samples (1:9 dilution), and undiluted samples (100%).
