Chicken gizzard protein was solubilized in SDS using the following protocol: http://biotech.biology.arizona.edu/labs/pro_stu.html.Various dilutions (20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%) of the protein were loaded into the wells of an agarose gel.
